Tourbillo opened in 2011 on Thanon Ratchadamnoen in Phuket's old quarter. We do three kinds of work, and we take time to do each of them properly.

Tourbillo began as a two-bench operation, founded by Khun Arthit Phanomwan after fifteen years working across service departments in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. The move to Phuket was deliberate — a quieter setting that suits the pace the work demands.
Over the years the workshop has grown to a small team of three, each with a background in mechanical horology. The work remains hands-on and unhurried. We take on a limited number of pieces at any one time so that each watch receives proper attention from start to finish.
We are not a high-volume service centre. We are a small workshop that prefers to do fewer jobs well over many jobs quickly. That is the only philosophy the work has ever had.

The People Behind the Work
Three technicians, each with a distinct background in horology. One watch, one person, start to finish.
Arthit Phanomwan
Founder & Lead Technician
Fifteen years in mechanical horology before founding Tourbillo. Specialises in Swiss lever escapements and full restoration projects on vintage dress watches.
Nattaya Worasilp
Chronograph & Movement Specialist
Trained in Neuchâtel, returned to Thailand in 2016. Primary focus is column-wheel and cam-lever chronograph calibres, particularly sport and pilot watches.
Chaiwat Srisuk
Case & Dial Restoration
Joined Tourbillo in 2019 with a background in fine metalwork. Handles case polishing, refinishing decisions, and dial conservation on restoration projects.
Standards We Hold Ourselves To
These are not marketing statements. They are working practices we follow on every job.
Swiss-Grade Lubricants Only
We use Moebius and Synt-A-Lube products throughout. Off-brand substitutes are not used in our workshop, regardless of the service tier.
Ultrasonic Cleaning Equipment
Movement parts are cleaned in a multi-stage ultrasonic process before reassembly. This removes old lubricant residue that manual cleaning cannot reach.
Timegrapher Rate Testing
Every mechanical piece is checked on a timegrapher in multiple positions after service. The readings are noted and included in the return report.
Pressure Testing for Water Resistance
Where a watch carries a water resistance rating, we test the case before and after reassembly using a dry pressure tester. Results are recorded in the job notes.
Secure Storage During Work
Watches in progress are stored in individual numbered trays within a locked cabinet overnight and over weekends. No watch shares storage space with another.
Written Acceptance & Return Records
A signed acceptance note describes the watch's condition on arrival. A return record describes what was done, what was replaced, and the test results at completion.
Timepiece Repair in Phuket
Tourbillo is a small independent workshop on Thanon Ratchadamnoen in Phuket's Talat Yai district. The work covers crown and stem repair, chronograph servicing, and full end-to-end restoration for pieces with more significant needs. We do not handle watch sales, battery changes, or strap replacements — those are better served elsewhere.
Clients come to us from across Phuket, as well as from Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and occasionally from neighbouring countries. We accept work by prior arrangement rather than walk-in, which keeps the workshop calm and the scheduling manageable.
Our background covers Swiss mechanical calibres, Japanese automatic movements, and a range of vintage pieces. The workshop is equipped for movement work, case work, and basic dial conservation — the combination that a restoration project typically requires.
