Cookie Policy
This page explains how Tourbillo uses cookies on our website, and how you can manage your preferences. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember certain information about your visit — such as your preference settings or whether you have already agreed to our cookie policy. Cookies do not give us access to your device or any information stored on it beyond what you have shared with us.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always activeThese are necessary for the website to function. They enable things like the cookie consent record and basic navigation. They cannot be turned off.
Examples: cookieConsent (stores your cookie preferences), session identifiers.
Analytics Cookies
OptionalThese help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, how long people stay, and where they navigate from. Data is anonymised and used only to improve the site.
Examples: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid).
Marketing Cookies
OptionalThese may be set by advertising platforms to track visits across sites and build a profile of interests for ad personalisation. We do not currently run advertising campaigns, but these are included here for completeness.
Examples: Facebook Pixel (_fbp), Google Ads.
Preference Cookies
OptionalThese remember choices you have made — such as language or display settings — so you do not need to make them again on your next visit.
Examples: Language selection, regional format preferences.
Cookie Duration
- Session cookies — deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies — remain until their expiry date or until you delete them. Most analytics cookies expire after 12–14 months.
- Our consent cookie (cookieConsent) — stored in your browser's localStorage with no automatic expiry. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.
