Repair & Restoration
for Watches That Matter

Tourbillo is a small workshop in Phuket dedicated to careful, considered work on mechanical and quartz timepieces. We take on three kinds of work — and we do each one properly.

What We Work On

Three focused services, each handled as a distinct kind of work. We take time to understand the piece before we begin.

Crown and stem repair

Crown & Stem Repair

Repair or replacement of a damaged crown and stem so winding and setting feel right again, with a check of the surrounding gaskets. Parts are matched to the piece where possible, and options are explained before proceeding.

  • Crown and stem replacement or repair
  • Gasket check and replacement as needed
  • Parts sourced to match the original

How We Approach the Work

A few things that shape how Tourbillo operates — not as a list of claims, but as a description of how we actually work.

Scope Agreed Before Work Begins

We describe exactly what needs doing and why, and we wait for your agreement before we touch the movement. No surprises added along the way.

Parts Matched Where Possible

When replacement parts are needed, we look for period-appropriate or manufacturer-sourced components. Generic substitutes are a last resort, not a default.

Written Records on Every Job

We keep notes on what was done and provide a brief report with each watch on return. That record stays with you for future reference.

Realistic Timelines

We give an honest estimate of how long the work will take. If something changes, we let you know promptly rather than waiting until the last moment.

One Technician, One Watch

Your watch is handled by one person throughout the job — not passed between stations. That continuity matters for delicate restoration work.

Plain Communication

We speak plainly about what we find and what we recommend. You can ask questions at any point, and we prefer that to silence on either side.

Have a Watch That Needs Attention?

Describe the piece and what you've noticed — we'll let you know whether it falls within our work, and what the next step looks like from there.

Common Questions

A few things people often ask before bringing a watch in.

How do I know which service my watch needs?
Describe what you're noticing — a loose crown, a sluggish pusher, or a watch that hasn't run in years. We'll ask a few questions and let you know which of our three services fits, or whether we're the right place for the work at all.
Do you work on all brands and movements?
We work on a wide range of Swiss and Japanese mechanical movements, as well as many quartz calibres. There are some brand-proprietary movements that require manufacturer tooling we don't hold — we'll tell you honestly if a piece is outside our scope.
How long does a full restoration take?
A full restoration project typically takes eight to fourteen weeks, depending on parts availability and the extent of the work. We agree on a timeline in writing before we begin, and we update you if anything changes that estimate.
What is included in the chronograph service price?
The ฿15,200 price covers disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, fresh lubrication, adjustment of the chronograph mechanism, and a written function report. Parts replacement, if needed, is quoted separately before any work proceeds.
Is my watch insured while it is with you?
Watches in our care are held under a basic workshop cover policy. We recommend that clients maintain their own insurance for high-value pieces, and we can provide a signed receipt with a declared value on acceptance.
Can I drop off a watch without an appointment?
We prefer that you contact us first — a brief message or call lets us confirm a quiet time and ensures the right person is available to receive and assess the piece when you arrive.
